Aseprite Converter
Open .aseprite and .ase files and export GIF, APNG, WebP, MP4 or a sprite sheet, by tag and with crisp scaling.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Aseprite Converter works
The Aseprite file is read directly in the browser: layers, linked and compressed cels, palettes and tags are merged the way Aseprite shows them. Non-normal blend modes are drawn as normal.
Input: ASEPRITE, ASE. Output: GIF, APNG, WEBP, MP4, PNG, JSON.
How to use Aseprite Converter
- Drop one or more images onto Aseprite Converter.
- Tune the options. The before/after preview updates live.
- Process the batch.
- Download a single image, or everything as a ZIP.
Tips
- Most image tools accept many files at once.
- WebP and AVIF give much smaller files than JPG at the same visual quality.
- Set a default image quality in Settings. Tools that do not choose their own quality use it.
Aseprite Converter FAQ
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
