Resize, Crop & Rotate GIF
Resize, crop, rotate, flip or change the canvas and aspect ratio of GIF, APNG and WebP animations.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Resize, Crop & Rotate GIF works
Animations are decoded into full frames in your browser (GIF with gifuct-js, APNG with UPNG.js, WebP frames with the browser decoder), edited, then written back out. GIF is encoded with gifenc plus our own frame optimiser; WebP, MP4 and WebM go through ffmpeg.wasm. Resizing uses area averaging with premultiplied alpha, so edges stay clean.
Input: GIF, APNG, WEBP, AVIF. Output: GIF, APNG, WEBP, MP4, WEBM.
How to use Resize, Crop & Rotate GIF
- Drop one or more images onto Resize, Crop & Rotate GIF.
- Tune the options. The before/after preview updates live.
- Process the batch.
- Download a single image, or everything as a ZIP.
Tips
- Most image tools accept many files at once.
- WebP and AVIF give much smaller files than JPG at the same visual quality.
- Set a default image quality in Settings. Tools that do not choose their own quality use it.
Resize, Crop & Rotate GIF FAQ
- Are my files uploaded?
- No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
- Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
- Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
