Text Similarity & Fuzzy Match
Compare two texts with Levenshtein, Jaro-Winkler, cosine and more, or fuzzy match two lists of names.
Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.
How Text Similarity & Fuzzy Match works
Edit distances (Levenshtein, Damerau, Hamming) count the changes needed to turn one text into the other. Jaro-Winkler suits short strings like names. Cosine and Jaccard compare the words used, and Dice compares letter pairs. List mode finds the closest line in list B for every line in list A, which is handy for matching company or product names.
Input: Text, TXT, CSV. Output: CSV.
