How Office Media Extractor works
Files are opened in your browser with SheetJS and JSZip. Nothing is uploaded, and your original file is never changed. Office files are ZIP archives, so the original media files are copied out exactly, with no re-compression.
Input: DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, ODT, ODP, ODS, EPUB. Output: ZIP, PNG, JPG, MP4.

Tips

- Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
