3D Model Viewer

View GLB, GLTF, OBJ, STL, PLY, FBX, 3MF, DAE, 3DS, USDZ, AMF, VRML, OFF and point clouds with orbit controls, lighting, wireframe and screenshots.

Free, no uploads, no sign-up. Runs 100% in your browser.

How 3D Model Viewer works

Models are loaded with the three.js loaders (MIT), including Draco and Meshopt compressed glTF, and shown with physically based lighting from a studio environment. Linked files such as textures, .bin buffers and .mtl materials are matched by name when you drop them together.

Input: GLB, GLTF, OBJ, MTL, STL, PLY, FBX, 3MF, DAE, 3DS, USDZ, AMF, WRL, OFF, PCD, XYZ, VTK, KMZ, LWO, GCODE. Output: PNG.

How to use 3D Model Viewer

  1. Drop a model, plus its textures or .bin/.mtl files if it has them.
  2. Drag to orbit, right-drag to pan, scroll to zoom.
  3. Toggle wireframe, clay, grid, lighting and background from the toolbar.
  4. Press the camera button to save a PNG screenshot.

Tips

  • Press "Fit to view" if the model is off screen.
  • Animated glTF and FBX files show a play button.

3D Model Viewer FAQ

Is my file uploaded?
No. Everything runs in this browser tab on your own device. Engines are downloaded once and cached, but your files never leave your computer.
Are my files uploaded?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser tab. Files are read from your disk into memory and the result is generated locally.
Is it free? Are there limits or watermarks?
Free and open source (MIT). There are no file-size caps, daily quotas, accounts or watermarks.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once the page (and any engine it needs) has loaded, it keeps working without a connection thanks to the service worker cache.
